HIT recently organized a hands-on intangible cultural heritage (ICH) workshop on traditional Chinese paper-cutting. Titled "Appreciating ICH Beauty, Feeling the Cultural Pulse", the session introduced students from diverse cultures to the history and techniques of this traditional folk craft.
With guidance from experts, students learned to create classic patterns with red paper and scissors. The workshop blended education with cultural exchange, allowing ancient traditions to thrive in a modern and global context.
