Prof. M. MARGARET BARTH was Invited to the School of Food Science and Engineering
Prof. M. MARGARET BARTH, invited by Prof. Lanwei Zhang, finished the visiting of School of Food science and Engineering from 6.March to 14,March. Presently, M. MARGARET BARTH was Responsible Source, LLC and also was the adjunct Associate Professor, Food Science & Human Nutrition University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign,USA. This program was supported by the International cooperation and exchange Foundation of HIT.
M. MARGARET BARTH provided series of lectures. Following is the topic of the seminars:

In addition, a training of thesis writing, guided by Prof. Meg, was carried out at Sino-France Joint Dairy lab in School of Food science and Engineering from March 12 to March 13.This visiting focused on the food safety evaluation. Prof. Meg analysed the situation and problems of the food safety in USA, and offer some good advices to conduct and develop the study of food safety. During the lectures, both the teachers and students gave the most interests in her lectures. Some students asked the food safety about Mcdonald's. Prof. Meg gave the patient explanations. And they exchanged their views.
Prof.Meg gave high scores of the development of cheese research in School of Food science and Engineering, and promised maintenance of further exchange and cooperation.
General conclusion:
(1)Check a subject progress for two postgraduate, and instruct and amend the experimental program for one PhD candidates;
(2)Give the five lectures for the students and teachers in HIT;
(3)instruct the 4 sci papers
