HIT Team Wins the Championship of Sohu News-picture Matching Algorithm Competition

In the recent 2017 Sohu News-picture Matching Algorithm Competition, the HIT team composed of HIT graduates——Tao Wen, Wang Jiawei, Jing Xuan Xuan, Dai Jiang and a undergraduate——Zhang Fangyi from the Intelligent Interface and Human-computer Interaction Center of School of Computer Science and Technology wins the championship under the joint guidance of Mr. Liu Shaohui and Mr. Jiang Feng, two teachers of HIT.

The Competition is a news-picture matching competition jointly organized by Sohu, IEEE-China and Tsinghua University Knowledge Engineering Group. Sohu provides millions of truthful data and invites IT experts around the world to solve the algorithm issue——news-picture matching, which has attracted nearly 400 teams from Tsinghua University, Peking University and other domestic and foreign universities, research institutions and enterprises.
