The two sides will promote deep strategic cooperation and development in the fields of personnel training and exchange, joint research and innovation, intelligent campus construction, and campus services. Xu Zhijun, Chairman on duty of Huawei, and Zhou Yu, President of HIT, gave a speech at the signing ceremony.

In his speech, Xu Zhijun thanked HIT for delivering a large number of outstanding talented individuals to Huawei for many years, and especially for training a group of high-ranking professionals. At present, there are more than 4,000 HIT alumni working in Huawei, all of whom have contributed a lot to the development of the company. The signing of the contract will promote both the school and the enterprise to implement the national major development strategy, and the further expansion of the depth and breadth of the cooperation will bring about a win-win situation for both Huawei and HIT.

Zhou Yu said that HIT and Huawei have established a longstanding cooperative relationship. In recent years, Huawei has employed more than 400 graduates every year, and the cooperation between school and enterprise has become increasingly close. It is hoped that through this signing, both sides will be able to sincerely and accurately cooperate to complement each other's strengths, and work together to promote the training of talented professionals, support HIT’s technological innovation, and advance the sustainable development of Huawei's industry.

According to the strategic cooperation agreement signed at this time, the two sides will mobilize and enhance their respective resource advantages to achieve mutually beneficial development, based on the national macro-industry policy, the regional development policy, the overall development plan of the school, and the enterprise development strategy. In terms of personnel training and exchange, the two sides will explore models for the joint training of talented professionals between schools and industry enterprises, and build innovative talent centers based on the professional construction and talent training needs of universities. In the field of joint research and innovation, the two sides will conduct extensive exchanges and cooperation in the fields of communication technology, artificial intelligence, and graphic decoding and analysis, while also continuously optimizing the research and innovation cooperation mechanism to expand the scope and depth of cooperation. Furthermore, the two sides will jointly promote the construction of the "13th Five-Year" intelligent campus at HIT and carry out various campus service activities.
