On September 4, Senator Steve Daines, co-chairman of the U.S.-China Working Group of the U.S. Senate, and his entourage visited our university. Vice President Liu Hong and Assistant President Fan Feng briefed Daines and his entourage on the international cooperation and exchange of our university.

Daines and his party first visited Huang Zhiwei's Young Scientist Studio and exchanged views with Professor Huang Zhiwei on the research direction and achievements of the laboratory. Daines congratulated our university on the development of the subject of life sciences. After visiting the teacher-student service hall of our university, Daines and his party expressed their appreciation for the service-oriented concept of our university.

During the school period, Daines had a face-to-face discussion with the student representatives of our school, and exchanged views on the relevant issues of concern with the students.
