Harbin Institute of Technology Newspaper (Wangyin, text/ Mengxiaohui, photograph) On the morning of April 8, Vice President Ding Xuemei met with Roland Foster, Governor of Solothun, Switzerland, at Executive Building 333.
Solothun is a sister state of Heilongjiang Province. This visit was at the invitation of our province. Six members of the delegation were from Northwest University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Switzerland. The School of Business of this university signed a memorandum of cooperation with the School of Economics and Management of our university in April 2017. The main areas of cooperation include several programs, such as teacher exchange visits, scientific research cooperation, short-term training, and so on. During the meeting, Ding Xuemei introduced the basic information of our university to the governor and the delegation. She hopes to continue to strengthen the cooperation with Northwest University of Applied Sciences and Arts and promote the exchange of short-term visits, training, and other projects between teachers and students with the help of the friendly relations between the two provinces. During their stay at the university, the delegation also visited the museum of our university.
