(HITNews) A few days ago, the ASRTU-China-Russia Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum of College Students' in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao was held in Guangzhou. FAN Feng, assistant president of our university, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia. With the two countries' relations stepping into a new era, Sino-Russian education cooperation is also facing a bright future and brand-new opportunities. The activity, entitled "Co-sharing and Co-creation", aims to promote high-level educational and scientific cooperation between famous universities of the two countries, strengthen mutual learning in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship, and expand exchanges between young people of the two countries. In the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, more than 100 teachers and students from Chinese and Russian universities participated in 35 innovation and entrepreneurship projects, including projects concerning artificial intelligence chips, multi-functional underwater vehicles, garbage sorting, cloud application debugging solutions, and so on. Finally, three projects of our university, "XGO Desktop Quadruped Robot Learning and Development Platform", "Xuanzhi Technology Modular Scene Fighting Robot", and "Multi-mode Precision Navigation VTOL Control System", received a prize.

The event was organized by ASRTU, jointly sponsored by the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Universities Alliance and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Universities Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance. The event was attended by eight Russian universities, including Moscow State Bowman Technical University, Moscow Aeronautical Institute, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Urals Federal University, and fifteen Chinese universities, including South China University of Technology, Zhongshan University, Hong Kong University of Technology, and University of Macao.

During the event, teachers and students of Chinese and Russian universities visited the South China University of Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Incubation Base, the State Key Laboratory, and Huawei, Tencent and other high-tech enterprises.
