Students of HIT Won the Grand Prize in the National Professional Software and Information Technology Competition

In the finals of the 8th session of “Blue Bridge Cup” National Software and Information Technology Professional Competition held recently, the “MultiWorld Team” organized by LIU Haoyu, ZHOU Haibin and LI Tanlin who are undergraduates of the School of Computer Science of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) stood out from 30 teams and won the grand prize as well as venture capital with a value of 50,000 yuan. In addition, another 14 students of HIT won 1 first prize, 7 second prizes and 6 third prizes respectively.

The “Blue Bridge Cup” National Software and Information Technology Professional Competition is sponsored by the Talents Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The competition aims to accelerate teaching innovation and reform of computer, software and electronics majors in colleges and universities and to promote students’ independent innovation and their engineering ability via practice. The competition this year attracted more than 40,000 participants from over 1,200 colleges and universities in a total of 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions and more than 500 software entrepreneurial teams.
