HIT Shenzhen Graduate School (HITSGS) was co-established by HIT and the Shenzhen Municipal Government with a clear global vision to be an open and research-oriented top graduate school in China.
    Neighboring with the graduate schools of Tsinghua and Peking University, HIT Shenzhen Graduate School is located in the west campus of Shenzhen University Town in Xili District, Shenzhen. HIT Shenzhen Campus covers an area of 17 hectares with total space of 72,000 square meters.
    HIT Shenzhen Graduate School offers excellent master's and doctoral programs in the following 8 disciplinary groups: Computer and Information Science, Materials Science and Engineering, Control and Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Economics and Management , Urban and Civil Engineering, General Science, Electronics and Information Technology.
    Each disciplinary group consists of research centers and laboratories. Currently there are over 30 research centers and several key laboratories both at national and provincial levels. In addition, HITSGS and some world-class universities and research institutes have co-established several joint laboratories.
    At present, HITSGS has 73 full-time faculty members, including 26 professors, 38 associated professors and 9 assistant professors. 65% of the faculty members have overseas experience. The school has a total of 1,602 full-time students, 507 part-time students and 35 post-doctoral fellows.
