HIT News (MEI Wenzhang text/photo) June 18, Russian First Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Trup Nikov, who is here to attend the 2019 China-Russia Science and Technology Innovation Day and other activities, led a delegation to visit the university and inspect the relevant laboratory. YU Lihe, deputy director of the Provincial Science and Technology Department, DONG Jiwen, deputy director of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and FAN Feng, deputy executive director and assistant president of the Association of Sino-Russion Technical Universities attended the exchange inspection.

The members of the delegation are from Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, Russian Embassy in China, Executive Committee of the International Union of Experts on Instrument Manufacturing and Information and Communication Technologies, Russian International Science and Technology Education Program Analysis Center, Intergovernmental Organization of International Science and Technology Information Center, Russian Association for International Science and Technology Cooperation, Dubna Joint Nuclear Research Institute, Olihovich Institute of Biomedical Chemistry, Moscow Bowman State Technical University, Moscow Aeronautical Institute, Moscow Institute of Iron and Steel Alloy.

During the exchange, Trup Nikov spoke highly of the outstanding achievements HIT has made in personnel training, scientific and technological innovation, international exchanges and other fields. He hoped that through the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, China and Russia would further support high-level, deep-seated and multi-dimensional cooperation and exchanges in relevant fields. FAN Feng introduced the development process, subject characteristics and the school-running pattern of one university with three branch campuses. He hoped to maintain long-term and close cooperation and exchange with Russian universities, and promote the Association of Sino-Russion Technical Universities to play a better role as a bridge and link under the framework of "Sino-Russian Humanities Cooperation Committee".

During the visit, the delegation inspected the key laboratories of the Ministry of Construction, Science, Industry and Information Technology, the State Key Laboratory of Urban Water Resources and Water Environment, the Traffic College, and the Wind Tunnel and Wave Trough Laboratory of the Civil Engineering College, and exchanged views with relevant experts on the spot.

Relevant responsible persons of CAST and the Ministry of International Cooperation participated in the above-mentioned activities.
