The Construction and Urban Development Subcommittee of the China-Russia Prime Ministers'Regular Meeting Committee (hereinafter, the subcommittee) recently held its fifth meeting in Beijing.
Fan Feng, vice-president of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), and Pavel Akimov, president of Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MGSU), signed a Cooperation Agreement on Personnel Training, Research, and Development in the Field of Architecture between the two universities.
According to the agreement, both parties will focus on the technologies and applications of cold-region architecture, such as "Good Housing" construction, testing and reinforcement, urban renewal, and green, low-carbon operations and maintenance.
The aim is to promote high-level talent exchanges and interactions, integrate advantageous resources, and contribute to the sustainable development needs of cold-region architecture in both countries.
