Shuai Yong, Vice-president of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) led a delegation to Belarus from Oct 20 to 24, where they held discussions with several universities and research institutions, including the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB), Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU), Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics (BSUIR), and Belarusian State University (BSU).
Shuai, on behalf of HIT, signed documents to promote educational cooperation and exchanges between China and Belarus.
During the meetings with the host universities and institutions, the delegation discussed topics such as the construction of the China-SCO Doctoral Training Innovation Center and the cultivation of high-level talents. Shuai Yong attended the opening ceremony of the exchange and training program held by HIT and NASB, promoting the implementation of China-Belarus talent exchange projects.
During the visit, Shuai also attended the XIV Forum of Engineering and Technology Universities of the Union State, where he delivered a special report. He represented the HIT in exchanging a memorandum of understanding with BNTU for a joint laboratory and signed cooperation agreements with BSUIR and BSU.
