Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) recently held its Flowers Blooming on Porcelain ceramic painting event, bringing youthful passion to the time-honored allure of Chinese porcelain.
The occasion kicked off with a sharing session that explored the categories of blue-and-white porcelain and its evolutionary journey from ancient kilns to modern aesthetics, with each chapter telling a tale of cultural inheritance.
Students then picked up brushes, dipping them in pigment and inspiration to create their own ceramic artworks. As brush tips danced across the smooth porcelain surfaces, the students engaged in a silent dialogue with the past, experiencing the vivid vitality of traditional Chinese aesthetics that has transcended millennia.
This event not only allowed young minds to touch the textures of history but also sowed the seeds of cultural love, allowing age-old porcelain art to bloom with fresh radiance on campus.
