Vice-President Fan Feng of the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) led a delegation to Russia from Nov 25 to 28, where he engaged in-depth exchanges with several universities, including Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, Saint Petersburg State University, the Moscow Architectural Institute, and Moscow State University of Civil Engineering. Multiple cooperation agreements were reached.
Fan and his delegation held discussions with the visited universities, focusing on fields such as architectural design, civil engineering, environmental protection, and polar science and engineering. They explored topics like high-level joint talent cultivation, building high-quality cooperative platforms, establishing mechanisms for expert exchanges, and enriching the content of faculty and student exchanges.
Fan expressed hopes of expanding cooperation with Russian universities, while deepening scientific and educational collaboration to support the high-quality and sustainable development of education between China and Russia.
During the visit, the school signed a future work plan and roadmap with Moscow State University of Civil Engineering regarding the joint construction of Good Houses in cold regions.
