The China Scholarship Council of the Ministry of Education hosted the event "Experience China · A Splendid Chapter: 2025 'Experience China' Annual Activities" in Beijing, at which the 2025 "Experience China" Annual Figures were honored.
Mumtaz Ali Hasan, a doctoral student admitted in 2021 to the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), was named a 2025 "Experience China" Annual Figure in the category of "Most Inspiring Volunteer", an honor awarded to only two international students nationwide.
Poletaeva Viktoriia, a master's student admitted in 2025 at HIT, delivered a speech entitled Bridging Hearts, Advancing Together in Research, sharing her experiences studying and taking part in cross-cultural exchange in China.

Mumtaz Ali Hasan enrolled at HIT in September 2015 and has since completed his bachelor's, master's, and doctoral studies consecutively at the university. Over the past decade in China, he has actively participated in volunteer services for the Harbin Asian Winter Games, cultural exchange activities between Chinese and international students, and volunteer teaching programs, accumulating more than 600 hours of volunteer service.
"Experience China" is a flagship program developed by the China Scholarship Council. In 2025, a total of 20 international students were selected as "Experience China" Annual Figures across four award categories.
