Xu Feng graduated in 2017 from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT). He originally decided to major in Russian language, but later embarked on a path that allowed him to study both Russian language and aerospace engineering, ultimately specializing in space technology.
Admitted to HIT's international program, he entered its distinctive "2+3" dual-degree track, which allowed him to master both the Russian language and foundational aerospace engineering. After two rigorous years at HIT, he continued his studies overseas, graduating with top honors.
This unique educational path, blending humanities and engineering, equipped Xu with both language skills and systematic technical expertise. In 2022, he commenced his direct doctoral studies at Tsinghua University. His path from a language student to a researcher in aerospace technologies underscores how HIT's integrated training model nurtures versatile talent capable of contributing to technological development.
