Jing Wei, secretary-general of the China Education Development Foundation, and her delegation visited Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) on Jan 17 to conduct research and engage in discussions on HIT's integrated development of science, technology, and talent.
Chen Jie, HIT Party secretary, attended the meeting. Chen Rui, HIT deputy Party secretary and vice-president, also participated in the discussions and research activities.

Jing acknowledged the new progress and achievements HIT has made in scientific research, talent cultivation, and international cooperation, as well as the accomplishments of the HIT Education Development Foundation. She said the China Education Development Foundation will strengthen its collaboration with HIT in attracting talent and pooling wisdom, continuously promoting the high-quality development of public welfare in education.
Chen Jie said the HIT Education Development Foundation has been undergoing a transformation in recent years and said he hoped both parties can further deepen their cooperation, establish a systematic and regular communication mechanism, jointly enhance professional standards, and make the HIT Education Development Foundation a model of governance. He also emphasized the importance of expanding international cooperation, facilitating ongoing international exchanges and collaborations, and innovating basic research paradigms to generate more original results.
Meanwhile, leaders from the HIT Education Development Foundation provided reports and updates on the foundation's work.
During their visit, Jing and her delegation also toured the HIT Museum and the HIT Education Development Foundation.
