SmartBot, an international academic journal launched by Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) and Wiley, has been granted a publishing license and issued its CN publication number (CN23-1628/TP) by the National Press and Publication Administration, which is used to identify periodicals registered and publicly distributed in China.

This marks a key step in the journal's development and its transition into full-scale operation, as part of China's Excellence Action Plan for Scientific and Technological Journals.
Overseen by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and hosted by HIT, SmartBot aims to provide a high-quality platform for academic exchange among researchers worldwide and to strengthen China’s international presence in robotics research.
