Gao Haibo, assistant to the president of Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), led a delegation to Macao for exchanges with Jiang Zhihong, vice-president of the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST).
He also attended MUST's 26th anniversary celebration and its conferment ceremony for honorary doctoral degrees, as well as the 45th anniversary celebration of the City University of Macau and its conferment ceremony.
Gao introduced HIT's development achievements, the progress of its cooperation with Macao, and positive outcomes in faculty and student exchanges between the two universities.
He expressed hope that both sides would build on the existing foundation of cooperation, further strengthen collaboration, and jointly contribute to the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the national development strategy.
Jiang provided an overview of MUST's educational initiatives and future development plans, hoping that both institutions would deepen practical cooperation in talent cultivation, collaborative scientific research, and innovation, and work together to make greater contributions to China's development.

During the visit, Gao toured the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences at MUST and held discussions with the laboratory's director, Zong Qiugang, and his team, exchanging views on deepening cooperation in key areas.
