On behalf of the university, Han noted that HIT's pioneer ethos – centered on a sense of mission, commitment to truth, respect for science, and the pursuit of excellence – remains at the core of its identity. This ethos reflects both the shared experience of striving for excellence on campus and a common set of values among graduates who contribute to the country. At a time of rapid global change, new challenges are emerging, offering graduates the opportunity to put these values into practice.

Han shared three expectations for the graduates as they begin their next chapter: moving forward with determination while staying grounded in their original purpose, maintaining the courage to explore new frontiers while keeping the patience needed for sustained work, and striving for personal growth while taking time for reflection.
