Kim Borisov, deputy chairman of the government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), visited Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) with his delegation. HIT Vice-President Liu Ting met with the delegation.

Liu outlined the university's cooperation with Russian partners and expressed hope that this visit would broaden collaboration with universities and research institutions in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), particularly in talent development and cultural exchange, and inject fresh momentum into China-Russia higher education cooperation.
Borisov said he looks forward to closer, results-oriented cooperation with HIT and to supporting expanded collaboration and new partnership models, with the goal of setting a strong example for China–Russia cooperation in higher education.
During the visit, the delegation met with 28 students from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) who are currently studying at HIT.
