PhD Admissions Update | Prof. Han Xiaojun's Research Group

Han Xiaojun is a tenured professor at Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), National High-level Talent, Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), Member of the Teaching Guidance Committee for Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education, Head of the Department of Chemistry, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, and recipient of the Baogang Excellent Teacher Award. He has led more than 40 research projects including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC). He has published over 250 papers in journals including Nature Communications, Journal of the American Chemical Society, etc., and holds 43 authorized national invention patents. He independently authored a key national monograph. He has been invited to deliver more than 110 plenary, keynote, and invited presentations at international and domestic academic conferences.
Research directions:
Bioanalysis, artificial cells, organoids, biosensors, cancer diagnosis and therapy, pollutant detection and degradation.

Applicants should hold a bachelor's and/or master's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, biology, or related interdisciplinary fields.
Candidates should possess strong research aptitude, a collaborative spirit, genuine interest in scientific research, independent thinking skills, and strong ability to retrieve and read English literature.
