A delegation led by Vitaly Gladkikh, vice-rector of Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MGSU), visited Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) on May 18 to discuss expanding cooperation between the two universities. Fan Feng, vice-president of HIT, met with Gladkikh and his delegation.
Fan noted the two universities have developed increasingly close ties in recent years through regular faculty and student exchanges and frequent academic collaboration. He said the partnership has continued to expand and evolve across a growing range of academic and research areas, showing promising pathways of collaboration.
He expressed hope that both institutions would further build consensus and coordinate efforts to advance academic collaboration in architecture, civil engineering, and construction-related fields.
Gladkikh said that MGSU values its longstanding partnership with HIT. He expressed hope the visit would help further expand collaboration in joint education programs, research cooperation, and technology development, while contributing to stronger academic ties between Chinese and Russian universities.
