Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) recently held the 2026 enterprise launch ceremony for engineering master's and doctoral students across its three campuses on June 25.

On behalf of the university, Liu Jian, vice-president of HIT, expressed three hopes for the students about to embark on practical training: First, recognize the position of the times and align with major national strategic needs. Second, focus on the core mission, be open-minded, and work diligently on production lines and commissioning sites. Third, uphold the tradition of the university motto and carry forward the collaborative spirit of HIT people in tackling key challenges together.

Lyu Yan, director of the Student Affairs Department, presented practice task letters to student representatives about to begin work at enterprises and gave them practical kits from the university.

Zong Yingying, executive vice-dean of the Graduate School and dean of the National Academy of Excellence in Engineering, presented plaques to 10 university-enterprise joint graduate training bases co-established with enterprises and awarded commemorative trophies to mentors who had overseen outstanding achievements.
