Han noted that the UAE is an influential country in the Middle East that has made remarkable progress in higher education, science and technology, and innovation. HIT and institutions in the UAE have built a solid foundation for cooperation in research, talent development, and people-to-people exchanges, achieving productive results, he added.
Han expressed the hope that both sides would further deepen cooperation in talent development and research and innovation, establish a platform for China-UAE collaboration in higher education, and work together to take educational and scientific cooperation between the two countries to a new level.
Hammadi said HIT's academic strengths and world-class research capabilities align closely with the UAE's national development priorities, creating excellent opportunities for expanding cooperation in higher education.
He encouraged both sides to build on their complementary strengths by broadening faculty and student exchanges, advancing joint education and collaborative research and innovation, and pursuing mutually beneficial cooperation so that higher education can make an even greater contribution to the economic and social development of both countries.
During his visit, Hammadi attended the closing ceremony of the UAE Young Scholars Science, Technology and International Exchange Camp at the HIT International Campus's Wisdom Center.
He also toured the HIT Museum, the Space Museum, the university's indoor sports complex, and its weatherproof walkway system, gaining firsthand insight into HIT's century-long history, achievements in aerospace, and campus development.
