The Harbin Institute of Technology Beijing Research Institute (HIT-BRI) is a key strategic platform initiative that anchors HIT's long-term vision and future-oriented growth. Located in Shijingshan district, Beijing, HIT-BRI leverages HIT's strong research capabilities and expertise in fields like artificial intelligence (AI), robotics and intelligent manufacturing, aerospace, and new materials. HIT-BRI is led by Han Jiecai, president of HIT and an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). More than 30 academicians from CAS and the Chinese Academy of Engineering contribute to the institute as chief scientists, academic advisors, and adjunct mentors. Together, they provide high-level expertise and guidance to support researchers in undertaking major national strategic missions and advancing cutting-edge interdisciplinary research.
The institute's initial research infrastructure features five national-level and two provincial- or ministerial-level research and experimental platforms, providing a strong foundation for organized research and the pursuit of breakthroughs in critical and core technologies. The institute is also developing a multifunctional innovation complex that integrates research and office facilities, experimental R&D, academic exchange, industrial incubation, exhibitions, and other functions. Appointment as a full professor with public-institution staffing status; eligibility to serve as a PhD supervisor will be granted, with a guaranteed PhD student enrollment quota.

Internationally competitive and domestically leading compensation, with eligibility for additional performance-based bonuses (uncapped).
· Research Support

Remuneration and benefits:
· Salary
Internationally competitive and domestically leading compensation. Candidates approved for the National Funded Postdoctoral Researcher Program, including the Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program, will receive the corresponding compensation package, up to 500,000 yuan per year during the funding period.
· Research Support
Start-up research funding and assistance with applications for relevant national and local research programs and funding.
