The 18th China Conference on Thermoelectric Materials and Applications was recently held in Harbin.
Organized by the Chinese Thermoelectric Society of the Chinese Materials Research Society and hosted by Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), the conference was co-organized by Harbin University of Science and Technology, Dalian University of Technology, Jilin University, and Inner Mongolia University.
Zhang Zhe, deputy director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Science and Technology; Academician Lin Yuanhua of Tsinghua University, director of the Chinese Thermoelectric Society of the Chinese Materials Research Society; and HIT President Han Jiecai delivered remarks.
Nearly 700 participants from universities, research institutes, and companies in related fields across China attended the conference. They included experts, scholars, early-career researchers, and student representatives, as well as Academician Zhang Qingjie of Wuhan University of Technology and Academician Chen Lidong of the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
