During the meeting, Shuai noted that the two institutions share common development priorities in artificial intelligence, large language models, and data science. He expressed hope that practical cooperation would deliver new outcomes through short-term exchanges for early-career faculty, joint research grant applications, and co-supervised student training, so as to strengthen educational collaboration between China and Pakistan.
Ahmad said that HIT boasts a strong academic legacy and distinctive disciplinary strengths that closely match the development needs of Pakistan's information industry. He highlighted broad prospects for higher-education cooperation between the two sides. He proposed using the visit as an opportunity to strengthen educational and scientific exchanges, enhance resource sharing and complementary advantages, and jointly develop a new model for university partnerships between China and Pakistan.
