Vice President REN Nanqi Welcomes University of Ballarat Delegation

On the morning of Oct. 10th, HIT Vice President REN Nanqi met cordially with his Australian counterpart, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Rowena Coutts, and Professor ZHAI Qingguo, International China Program Coordinator, from the University of Ballarat.  The University of Ballarat, is Australia’s only regional multi-sector university and the third oldest site of higher education in Australia with a distinguished 137 year history.
 
In the conference, REN Nanqi extended his welcome to the visiting Deputy Vice-Chancellor and her delegation introducing HIT’s illustrious history. REN acknowledged the University of Ballarat’s great achievements in business and industry. As one of the first four Management Schools established in China, HIT’s School of Management specializes in servicing science and industry. The synergy between both schools holds promise for successful future cooperation.
 
Deputy Vice-Chancellor Coutts conveyed to HIT greetings from University of Ballarat’s President and Management School’s Dean before introducing their curricula design and specialties. The University of Ballarat having emphasized the training of practical business skills and their application is recognized for successfully preparing its graduates for wide-ranging employment opportunities. Vice-Chancellor Coutts attached much importance to cooperation with HIT and looked forward to deepening the interaction and communication among teachers and students.
