November 10, 2011, Assistant President XU Dianguo welcomed Debbie Schatz, Assistant Director of Admissions for Transfer Students from the Missouri University of Science and Technology; Roberta Morgan, Assistant Director of International Student Affairs Office; and Elaine Light, Program/Project Support Specialist for Graduate Studies.

During Schatz’ inaugural visit to HIT Xu stated that after signing the Memorandum of Understanding and Student Exchange Agreement between Missouri S&T and HIT in July, 2011, and subsequently signing the Joint Training Program in October, the cooperative communication between the two schools continues to move forward. HIT attached great importance to its relationship with Missouri S&T. XU hoped that collaborations and exchanges between HIT’s and Missouri S&T would continue to grow, especially in the science, research and undergraduate student exchanges.

Ms. Schatz heartily approved HIT’s proposal to deepen further cooperation between the schools. On this occasion, she intended to publicize Missouri S&T’s undergraduate and postgraduate programs and hoped more HIT students would participate in this HIT and Missouri S&T exchange program.

FAN Hongbo, Director of International Office, attended the meeting and introduced HIT.
