On December 20th, 2011, Assistant president XU Dianguo kindly met with Levchenko, the assistant vice president of Teaching and Foreign Affair Department from Russian Pacific National University, as well as his delegation.
XU Dianguo showed a warm welcome to Levchenko’s visit, and introduced the general information about our university, as well as our cooperation on education and scientific research with universities of Russian and scientific research departments. He also emphasized the great significance for establishing Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities (ASRTU). Levchenko expressed that as an association member from Russia, Pacific National University attached a great importance to the activities of ASRTU. He hoped that advantages of this sufficient platform could be taken to further intensify the cooperation on scientific research among Sino-Russian elite engineering universities, as well as to improve the communication between students from China and Russia. In the end, through a promotional video, Levchenko gave us a vivid and detailed introduction on Pacific National University and colorful life of Chinese students studying there.
The Director of International Student Center GU Jianzheng also attended the meeting.
