Vice President DENG and His Delegation Visit American and Canadian Universities and Institutions

During Dec.5th to 14th, Vice President DENG Zongquan and his delegation visited Massachusettes Institute of Technology, York University, Ryerson University and Canadian Space Agency. 
The Academics Vice President of York University, Patrick Monahan, International Affairs Vice President, Lorna Layte and Vice President of Ryerson University Allaun Shellbead. Both sides exchanged opinions on carrying out substantive cooperation. At the same time, both sides set up related detailed arrangements for cooperation between both universities through visiting professors of related disciplines and delegations. 
 
 The delegation visited Canadian Space Agency and had a deep understanding of the current condition and future plan of its outer space exploration. The staff of CSA also introduced the development of   space mechanical arms, the payload of rocket and moonlets.

By the invitation of HIT contracted professors Steven Dubowsky and Karl Iagnemma, the delegation carried out a series of survey activities in MIT’s mechanical engineering and space and astronautics studying, talents nurturing, laboratory constructing and international cooperation, which laid a solid foundation for deep cooperation in the future.
    
The delegation includes Chief of Infrastructure Projects Department, LI Xiao, Chief of Programming Department, XIE Dagang, and teachers from School of Mechatronics Engineering.
