March 29th, XU Dian, Assistant to the President, warmly welcomed to Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) ZHANG Hongzhan, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST) Vice President,and his delegation: HUANG Zhongwei, Electronic Engineering Professor, WU Ruinan and XIAO Suqing, electrical engineering Associate Professors.
NTUST, formerly known as the National Taiwan Institute of Technology, is a national technological university located in the Taipei City. NTUST was established in 1974, as the first and the leading higher education institution of its kind within Taiwan's technical and vocational education system and attained university status in 1997.
XU shared the latest news about HIT’s facilities and educational development while ZHANG Hongzhan reported on the rapid growth of NTUST’s school body and academic development. They also discussed student development, teaching management and academic cooperation.
The NTUST’ delegation toured HIT’s Schools of Architecture and Electrical Engineering before visiting three NTUST exchange students currently studying at HIT.
