Beijing Zhenli New High-Tech Co. Ltd agreed to donate 1,000,000 RMB to establish a Zhenli Scholarship in the Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) School of Civil Engineering. Harbin Donglin Construction Company agreed to donate 500,000 RMB to HIT for development.
Beijing Zhenli is an integrated business of scientific research, design, production, marketing and construction ranking number one in the thermal insulation dry mortar mix/agent industry. With more than 500 employees, and 200 million Yuan in annual sales revenue, the company’s mission is to reduce waste generation and energy consumption. It has succeeded in doing so via focused research and technological innovation, having achieved 36 patents and contributing to 15 national, industrial and local technical standards. As a leader in its field Beijing Zhenli is committed to social responsibility and environment-friendly and resource-conserving construction.
HUANG Zhenli, President of Beijing Zhenli, expressed his hope that together his company and HIT might devote their concerted research and development resources to develop new mutually beneficial products and notably advance construction engineering and energy conservation in China. HIT EDF President WANG Shuquan thanked the two companies’ representatives and pledged HIT’s best civil engineering research efforts toward energy conservation and emission reduction in accordance.
Founded in 1985, the Harbin, Donglin Construction Company is a collective enterprise that builds housing. MENG Xianglin, Vice General Manager, hoped that Donglin’s contribution might help HIT further education and mutually beneficial scientific research.
April 16th, CUI Guolan, HIT Alumni Union Managing Vice President and HIT Education Development Foundation Vice Chairman, and HUANG Zhenli, signed a donation agreement and accepted HIT Education Contribution Awards offered by WANG Shuquan, HIT EDF Chairman and Party Secretary as TIAN Zhenhui, HIT EDF Deputy Director-General and HIT Alumni Office Director, emceed the ceremony. ZHANG Hongtao, Party Deputy Secretary and Vice President read the decision on presenting honors.
