MIEM’s President Kulagin Appointed as HIT’s Consulting Professor

April 26th, in a ceremony, HIT’s President WANG Shuguo appointed Moscow State Institute of Electronics and Mathematics’ (MIEM) President Kulagin Vladimir Petrovich as HIT’s consulting professor.
 
HIT’s International Office Director FAN Hongbo presided over the ceremony and the School of Material Science and Engineering’s Professor NIU Jitai described Professor Kulagin’s academic and work achievements.
President WANG congratulated President Kulagin on his appointment. He then reviewed HIT and MIEM’s cooperative history and current developments, indicating his hope for increased academic exchange with MIEM to broaden the two universities’ international visions.
 
President Kulagin expressed his delight and excitement to be HIT’s consulting professor and pledged to strengthen the relationship between the two universities, relying on their close proximity. He also acknowledged HIT’s achievements in cooperating with Russian institutions of higher education in recent years.
 
At the ceremony, HIT’s School of Material Science and Engineering signed an agreement with MIEM’s Teaching and Research Office of Mathematics Modeling.
 
Other attendees included School of Material Science and Engineering’s Party Secretary GENG Lin, Finance Office Director YANG Ruiwei and School of Economy and Management’s Assistant Professor DUAN Yun.
