Vice President REN Nanqi meets with Delegation from Niigata University in Japan

July 2nd, a delegation from Niigata University in Japan were received by HIT Vice President REN Nanqi. The delegation was made up by 9 delegates and was led by their Vice President Mr. Nishimura.

REN showed his warm welcome to the arrival of the delegation. He spoke highly of the collaboration and communication between Niigata University and Harbin Institute of Technology; last but by no means the least, he expressed the expectation of intensive substantive interflow in the future. Mr Nishimura delivered his appreciation for the meticulous preparation our faculty and students made for the multilateral academic conference held in HIT, and approved of the idea of deeper consociation.

The delegation were coming for the multilateral academic conference aiming at the architecture domain. The conference was set for students and faculty of architecture relating subjects from Chinese and Japanese colleges and universities, and this year’s conference was presented by well-known professors from University of Tokyo as well as Toyo University.

Till now, HIT has been sending 5 exchange students to the Niigata University for one-year study annually.
