July 17th, Pro Vice-Chancellor for International Affairs of the University of Adelaide Kent Anderson visited HIT. Vice President REN Nanqi met with Anderson.
REN warmly welcomed the guests on behalf of HIT President WANG Shuguo, and said he was glad to see the progress in cooperation of HIT and the University of Adelaide. Anderson said the University of Adelaide is willing to regard HIT as a key partner in the fields of engineering. They welcome various student exchanges and hope that more cooperation will be carried out. At the end of the meeting, REN and Anderson signed the student exchange agreements between HIT and the University of Adelaide.
On the afternoon of the same day, Assistant to the President XU Xiaofei met with Anderson. XU introduced the current situation and development strategy of student internationalization in HIT, hoping to open up more channels for student exchanges. The two sides conducted an in-depth conversation on the design of student projects, and preliminarily identified a number of exchange visits intention to promote more student exchanges.
