July 17th, HIT President WANG Shuguo warmly welcomed Pacific National University (PNU) President Sergey N. Ivanchenko and his delegation of three. International Office Director FAN Hongbo, Publicity Department Dean WU Songquan and Graduate School Vice Dean GAO Dong also attended the meeting.
WANG expressed that HIT has kept long cooperative relations with PNU. PNU is one of HIT major partners for higher education in Far East. At the meeting, WANG introduced HIT's development and plans to Ivanchenko. He hoped that collaborations in the fields of scientific research, talent training and globalization between the two universities would be promoted based on the establishment of The Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities (ASRTU).
President Ivanchenko valued collaborations and exchanges in higher education with HIT. He spoke highly of HIT's faculties, teaching quality and academic research. He expressed his hope that more opportunities for collaborations and exchanges would be created between the two universities.
