On October 31st , Vice president SUN Heyi, Vice President ZHOU Yu, Vice President REN Nanqi, Vice President DING Xuemei, together with the Assistant to President XU Dianguo received foreign guests of the Third Sino-European Engineering Education Forum in the Sinoway Hotel. HIT signed collaboration agreements with Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden and Aalto University in Finland.
Administrators of HIT met separately with school leaders and professors coming for the forum from the following advanced educational institutions: Royal Institute of Technology, University of Karlsruhe, Lausanne Federal Polytechnic University, Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Technical University of Lisbon, Darmstadt University of Technology, Aalto University, Catholic University of Louvain. During the meeting, leaders from HIT showed warm welcome to the foreign guests. The overseas visitors also paid their appreciation towards HIT's reception and its efforts to hold this Sino-European Engineering Education Forum. Both sides communicated deeply over aspects such as the agenda of the forum, the development of Sino-European sustainable engineering graduate school, the Sino-European double-degree project; and bilateral delegates all expressed the strong will to enhance the collaboration over the student training, the discipline construction, the scientific research and many other fields.
