September 11th, the Assistant to President XU Dianguo met with the Vice President of Sakhalin State University and other two guests.
The Assistant to President XU expressed warm welcome towards the Sakhalin State University delegation, then he gave a brief introduction of HIT. During the meeting, the Assistant to President XU and the Russian guests talked about the collaboration between HIT and Sakhalin State University over education, research and other aspects. They both sides highly emphasized the significance of Association of Sino-Russian Technical Universities(ASRTU). The Vice President of Sakhalin State University introduced the basic situation in SSU and showed the will to enhance the communication between bilateral universities.
After the meeting, the SSU delegation visited the International Student Center(ISC), and exchanged views on youth's training project and international cultural communicational activities with responsible officers in the center.
