October 16, HIT Assistant to the President XU Xiaofei welcomed Professor Gerd Hauck, Dean of the Faculty of Communication & Design at Canada’s Ryerson University.
XU introduced HIT’s collaborations with Canadian universities, and exchanged ideas on upcoming academic conferences as well as the student activity plans of Canadian universities with Professor Hauck. Professor Hauck and LV Desheng, Dean of Media and Technology and Art Department, HIT School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, spoke about the current situations of their university’s Radio-Television Arts Departments. Both expressed their desire to further develop the links between the universities in both student programs and communications between professors.
HIT Mechanical Design Department Dean YANG Lifang also attended the meeting.
Ryerson University is a Canadian public university located in the downtown of Toronto, the largest city in Canada. It has maintained links with HIT since 2004.
