HIT Signs Cooperative Framework with Lanxi County

November 14, HIT Vice President GUO Bin welcomed a delegation led by WANG Xiuping, Party Secretary of Heilongjiang’s Lanxi County. The delegation included Lanxi’s County Magistrate HAN Fengcai, Lanxi Education Bureau’s Director WU Huilai and other county commissioners. At the meeting, WANG signed a cooperative framework, aiming to facilitate the industrialization of scientific research with HIT Assets Investment Management’s General Manager YANG Qinghai.
 
Mr. Wang described Lanxi’s pillar industries including flax and pharmaceuticals, and its plans for the future. He indicated that to accelerate expansion in these industries, Lanxi County needed to strengthen its cooperation with research-oriented universities like HIT. He also hoped that HIT graduates would work in Lanxi to expand the scope of its research and seek more opportunities for cooperation.
 
Vice President GUO Bin welcomed the opportunity to collaborate with Lanxi County. He reviewed with the delegation HIT’s Industry-University-Research achievements with companies in the Yangtze River Delta area. Vice President GUO said that HIT would use its advantages in research, contributing what it could to the Lanxi’s future through cooperation. He hoped that HIT would gain positive outcomes with Lanxi County, and establish a model for other universities in Heilongjiang to follow.
