March 5th, Assistant President XU Dianguo met with International Relations Manager of the French Institut Mines-Télécom Michel PAVAGEAU and his delegation.
Assistant President XU expressed a warm welcome to the delegation and briefly introduced HIT. Michel PAVAGEAU briefly introduced Institut Mines-Télécom. Assistant President XU held discussions about the engineer training system and how to deepen the high level of cooperation. They agreed on projects including exchanges between teachers and students, and joint training. Michel said this cooperation would have the support of the French Embassy and expressed the desire to carry out the work quickly.
The Institut Mines-Télécom is a scientific, cultural and professional public institution in France under the joint authority of the Minister for Industry and the Minister for Electronic Communications. Institut Mines-Télécom's mission lies in higher education, research and continuing training in the field of information and communication science and technology.
