HIT student Wins "My Favorite Project" Award

On November 16 to 17, The 6th National Conference of Undergraduate on Innovation and Entrepreneurship co-organized by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Science and Technology was held at the Central South University. The project "Design and experimental research of the new wind pressure transducer based on Fibber Bragg Gratting (FBG)" made by HIT senior student WANG Chen, of the School of Civil Engineering, won the "My Favorite Project" award. It is the fifth time that students of HIT have won "My Favorite Project" awards since the annual conference began.

At this year’s conference, a total of 150 college students’ innovation and entrepreneurship projects were exhibited, including 120 innovation projects and 30 entrepreneurship projects. It ialso carefully selected 90 academic papers for opinion exchange at the conference. One academic paper and three demonstration projects of HIT were chosen, the number of which were in the leading position among nationwide colleges and universities. More than 800 teachers and students from more than 160 colleges nationwide participated in this annual conference.

Representatives, experts and teacher representatives from the Undergraduate school, the School of Management and the School of Municipal and Environment Engineering attended.
