On the afternoon of August 30th, Secretary of the Supervision Division CAI Jujin met with a delegation from Okayama University led by Vice President ARAKI Masaru. Representatives from the International Office and School of Computer Science and Technology also attended the meeting.

Secretary CAI introduced HIT’s history and the main characteristics of the school to the Japanese visitors, and in particular highlighted the area of robotics. He hoped that through this visit, exchanges and cooperation between the two universities would be strengthened. ARAKI Masaru wants deeper substantive cooperation in the areas of scientific research and joint training of students with HIT.  

Okayama University, established in 1870, is one of Japan’s leading public universities. It includes research institutions such as the Institute of Plant Science and Resources, the Center for Information Technology and Management, the Center for the Development of Medical and Health Care Education, the Advanced Science Research Center and the Solid Waste Management Research Center.
