HIT Held Annual Meeting of Young Committee of China Green Building Council

November 22nd, the 2013 Annual Meeting of Young Committee of China Green Building Council was held by the HIT School of Architecture at the auditorium of the HIT Museum. This meeting included seven topics including the “Theory, Method and Practice of Green Building Design” and “Green Transformation of Existing Buildings”.

The Secretary-General of the Young Committee of China Green Building Council, Associate Professor of Zhejiang University City College TIAN Yiwei hosted the meeting. The Deputy Secretary-General of the China Green Building Council LI Ping introduced development trends in Chinese green building. Committee Member and Vice President of the School of Architecture SUN Cheng gave a speech. He also introduced the history and president situation of our school. The Chairman of the Young Committee and Professor of Tsinghua University LIN Borong reported on the work of the committee. During the meeting, 17 experts made keynote speeches, all delegates participated in in-depth discussions and exchanges, and visited the demonstration project “Chennengxishu Court” of Heilongjiang Province.

Participants in the meeting included more than 100 experts, bachelors and visitors from universities including Tsinghua University, Tongji University and research institutions including the China Academy of Building Research and other relevant companies. The meeting also collected 54 related papers about green building, which will be published as a collection by HIT Press.
