Bio of Dr. DONG Xianjun
Dr. DONG Xianjun majors in the field of bioinformatics. He received a bachelor degree in biomedical engineering in Southeast University in 2002.He obtained his doctor degree in bioinformatics in Bergen University, Norway in 2010. He did the postdoctoral research in Medical School, Massachusetts University during 2010-2013. Since 2013, he has been an assistant scientist in Medical School, Harvard University. He is one of the key members in American Encyclopedia of DNA Elements Plan (ENCODE) and he focuses on the data analysis research in throughput omics, epigenome, genome, transcriptome and so on. He has published about 20 journals in Nature, Cell, Molecular cell, Genome research, Genomebiology, Plos biology, NAR and other renowned journals.
