HIT invited the Far Eastern Federal University students to China for an exchange following the last exchange in 2012. The exchange is part of the Sino-Russian Youth Friendship Exchange Year (2014-2015), and it strengthens the scientific and cultural exchanges of youth between China and Russia. It inherited the long lasting Sino-Russian friendship, and breathes new life into and promotes Sino-Russian relations.
On April 16th, the HIT Art Troupe and the Far Eastern Federal University Youth Art Troupe gave a wonderful song and dance feast to Chinese and foreign students and teachers. With the bright lights and the melodious music, HIT Art Troupe firstly offered a serious of dance performances. The gracefulness in Liu Yue Mo Li, the affection of father and daughter in Father, the lingering love in Tian Yu, and the rhythm of youth in Xin Peng Xin Lian Peng Lian brought the audience into a mesmerizing world of art. The Far Eastern Federal University Youth Art Troupe performed the passionate Russian folk dance as an opening to ignite the enthusiasm of the audience. Dressed in colorful national costumes, the Russian youth played not only the classic songs including Moscow Nights and KalinKa which are familiar to the audience, but also played the Chinese songs Tao Hua Duo Duo Kai and Chrysanthemum terrace to interact with audience. Chinese and Russian youth built a bridge of friendship through art, the common language, which transcend nations and national boundaries. They closed the spiritual distance between each other and become the staunch defenders and active practitioners of Sino-Russian friendship.
Representatives of the Far Eastern Federal University Department of International Educational Projects, the HIT International Office and the HIT International Student Center attended the activity.
During their visit, the delegation of the Far Eastern Federal University also organized an overseas education promotion in HIT. They introduced their current development, hoped to deepen cooperation between China and Russia and to enhanced communication and interaction between the students of both schools.
