May 7 to 12, Vice-Chancellor Chamroon Laosinwattana of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and a delegation visited the School of Science and the School of Life Science and Technology of HIT, and discussed cooperation projects. Assistant President XU Dianguo met with Vice-Chancellor Laosinwattana. Assistant president XU introduced the current developments of HIT and major disciplines. He hoped the two universities can increase their cooperation. Vice-Chancellor Chamroon also expressed the hope of expanding the scope of cooperation and promoting the common development of the two schools. During their stay in HIT, Vice-Chancellor Chamroon and the delegation also visited the museum of HIT and laboratories in the HIT Science Park. He held discussions with the leaders of School, and learnt more about cooperation on research and students exchanges.
