On July 1st, St. Petersburg State University Vice President Igor Gorlinskyand his delegation visited HIT. Heilongjiang Province Vice Governor SUN Dongsheng, Heilongjiang Education Department Director XU Mei, HIT Party Secretary WANG Shuquan, Vice President REN Qinan and Assistant President XU Dianguo met the delegation at the HIT Museum. The related people of the Heilongjiang Education Department Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, theHIT International Office, the HIT International Student Center and the HIT School of Languages Russian Department attended the meeting.
Heilongjiang Province Vice Governor SUNspoke highly of the St. Petersburg State University and the bilateralpreliminary cooperation in his speech. He expressed his wish that the St. Petersburg State Universityand the high level universities of Heilongjiang province can strengthen the exchanges between them, including teaching and scientific research. The cooperation, including scientific research, personnel training, exchanges between teachers and students and subject construction, betweenthe St. Petersburg State University and HIT can be enhanced to achieve complimentary advantages and co-development.
St. Petersburg State University Vice President Igor Gorlinskyreaffirmed their cooperation with Heilongjiang province and HIT in his speech. He expressed hopes that both sides can continue the exchanges in the aspects oflanguage and culture, technology and process, basic teaching and joint research. He believes both sides can actively expand cooperation areas and space, explore new cooperative forms, and promote bilateral cooperation to attain new achievements and mutual benefits.
